Summary

Mechanical properties, porous structure and transport-separation properties of polyamide-6 membranes made by casting solutions of various compositions have been compared. The membranes were prepared from solutions of the polymer in a protonic (HC1 or HCOOH) and an aprotonic (DMAc or DMF) solvent by the method of inversed phases (nonsolvent—water). The membranes obtained by casting solutions in the aprotonic solvents were found to be comparable with typical ultrafiltration membranes.
