Summary

A model describing the changes in the modulus of rubber in the function of content of a filler with any shape of its particles lias been presented. Phis niodel has been derived from the phenomenological deliberations of Coran and Patel. Two parameters, n and MH, are present, in this model, both being calculated by a computer for a series of vulcanizates of natural rubber and chlorobutyl rubber and their mixtures. These vulcanizates contained various amounts of MT-FF and ISAF-LS carbon black. A good conformity between the proposed model and experimental data obtained for various amplitudes of deformation has been found..
