Summary

The chemical structure of polyhydroxymethylfurfurylidene-aceton (WMHFA) was studied and identified. An in­fluence of preparation procedure, crosslinking temperature and type of catalyst on the structural transitions of cross­linked resins was also studied. It has been found that crosslinking temperature and a crosslinking catalyst influence the structure of resin. WHMFA, in the presence of adds, exhibits a very good pot life, at least 2 months.
