An estimation of the effect of process parameters on the poly(elhylene lercphlhalale) polycondensnliori rate
Starting from differential equation of PET polycondensation re action for the reaction order n = 2, the equation (7) was derived determining the relation [η]t = f(t). On the example of 8 experiments cited in the previous publication  a method was outlined for the determination of parameters of such function on the basis of experimental data. Equations pertaining to defined process parameters and taking into account the effects of pressure and temperature can be used a.o. to the optimum control of PET manufacture.
