Summary

The samples of Tarnamid resins (Polish-made polyamide 6) were made soluble by fluoroacetylation. The GPC method in THF has been used to determine the molecular mass distribution, Mw, Mn, Mv, and Mz of the fluoroa cetylated derivatives of PA 6. The applicability of the flu o ro acetylation method in the above measurements has been confirmed by a good correlation between the values of Mv as determined by GPC for the fluoroacetylated samples and those of viscometrically determined urei for the same samples before fluoroacetylation.
