Application of the domestic petrochemical oils as naphthene-paraffin softeners in rubber mixtures

Polimery 1988, No 12, 467

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1988.467

Summary

Two types of hydroraffinates — petrochemical semiproducts o f naphthene-paraffin characteristics from the Gdańsk Refinery — have been investigated. Their physical and chemical properties have been determined and compared with those of the paraffin oils imported from abroad, namely with Celtis 904/P of Agip and with BP Enerpar 13 of British Petroleum. It has been found that the hydroraffinates investigated are in the class of paraffin oils and their properties are similar to those of the mentioned imported oils.
