Application of the method of spectroscopy of total internal reflectance in ir to an analysis of the process of blending of polyethylene with butadiene/styrene copolymer
The results of the application of the measuring technique based on the phenomenom of total internal reflectance aided by computer (it makes possible a numerical recording and: treatment of IR. spectra) to an analysis of the phenomenataking part during blending of polyethylene with a styrene/butadiene elastomer have been presented. High-quality spectra have been obtained. This made it possible to evaluate the effect of duration changes (oxidation, cross-linking), due components of the blend.
