Conductive polymers from electrolytic polymerization. Part I. Polymers prepared various heterocyclic
compounds and aromatic hydrocarbons
A literature review (1957—19B6) concerning the preparation of conductive polymers by electrolytic polymerization of heterocyclic compounds and aromatic hydrocarbons has been presented. On the basis of literature data, a mechanism of the polymerization of the presented chemical compounds (aniline, vinylcarbazole, azulene, pyrene, triphenylene and indene) has been proposed and the character of conductivity of polymers formed has been explained.
