Cooperation of bis(diisopropylthiophosphoryl)disulphide and morpholine disulphide as curing agents
for cis-1,4-polyisoprene. Part. I. Kinetics and thermal effects of curing cis-1,4-polyisoprene with mixtures
of disulphides of bis (diisopropylthiophosphoryl) and morpholine
With the use of Monsanto rheometer the effect of addition of morpholine disulphide (DTDM) on the kinetics of curing cis-1,4polyisoprene whit bis(diisopropyithiophosphoryl)dlsulphide (DIPDIS) has been determined at temperature of 140, 150, 160, 170, and 180° C. The kinetic parameters of curing reaction have been calculated with the utilization of the relaxational model of this process according to Hsich. The DSC and DC curve have been obtained with a scanning microcalorimeter fo r several cis-1,4-polyisoprene mixtures, containingh various curing systems. It has been demonstrated that DTDM exerts an essential influence on the activation energy and thermal effects of curing cis-1,4-polyisoprene with DIPDIS and prevents evolution of gaseous products of DIPDIS decomposition.
