Diffusion of gases through polyurethane films differing in their foaming degree, on the example of CO2 diffusion

The diffusion of CO2 through polyurethane films obtained in the solventless process and with varying degree of foaming (apparent density) has been investigated. The diffusion coefficients and permeability coefficients have been measured in the temperature range of 293—308 K (20—35°C) by the method of the time-lag. The effect of the foaming degree on the permeation of CO2 through films has been characterized.
