Summary

The conditions of formation of a stabilized phase structure in polymer blends or block copolymers were analyzed. The possibilities of Rusing differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermomechanical dynamic analysis (TMDA) to characterization of the phase structure of multiblock elastomers were discussed. The possibilities of applying measurements of specific heat, melting-point depression, glass-transition point, and dynamic modulus were presented on the examples of ether-ester, ether-amide, (ethercarbonate)-urethane and carbonate-ester copolymers as well as ether-carbonate-ester and ether-siloxane-ester terpolymers.
