Summary

The changes in the selected properties of coloured polylactide (PLA) film subjected to UV-VIS irradiation were investigated. The mechanical properties of the examined film samples were determined by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Temperature-dependent changes in the values of storage modulus (E'), loss modulus (E”) and damping coefficient (tan d) of the film after irradiation were observed. The molecular structure of the coloured film before and after photoageing was evaluated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). The colour fastness of the samples was tested using spherical spectrophotometer.
