Polimery 1982, No 5, 21

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1982.218

The quality of low density polyethylene (LDPE) has been estimated, using rheological (melt flow index, corrected numerical value of Barus effect ) and mechanical (ten sile strength, longitudinal elasticity co efficient) properties, as well as visual observation. Conventional, unconventional and special types of screw have been considered. It has been found that the unconventional screw is the best for LDPF extrusion.
