Electrical conductivity of domestic poly(ethylene terephthalate) film
The electric al conductivity of samples of Estrofol PET film differing in the degree of orientation and crystallinity has been investigated. The current-voltage characteristics of the film in electrostatic field of the intensity of up to 6.5x107V.m-1 have been determined. Ananalysis of these characteristics reveals a high probability of an ionic mechanism of electric al conductivity of PET film. This conductivity only slightly depends on the molecular orientation and degree of crystallinity of PET.
