The electroinsulating materials have been classified from the point of view of their resistance to the exposure to the action of various ambient conditions during exploitation, namely highly humid; humid and chemically aggressive (NH3, NaCl, HF) environment as well as in the medium of freons. The tests used in this classification and requirements to be met have been presented.
