A method for fractionation of a styrene-methyl metha­crylate copolymer by separation between two liquid phases in two systems: 1) chloroform (solvent), ethyl alcohol+ethylene glycol (non-solvent), and 2) chloroform (solvent) acetonitrile+ethylene glycol (non-solvent), has been elabo­rated. The integral and differential curves of molecular weight distribution have been calculated for copolymers of initial monomer composition as 5:1 and 1:5 in the function of Intrinsic viscosity determined in chloroform and in toluene and in the function of Mn. The presence of two maxima in the differential curve for 1 : 5 styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer fractionated in the system (2) has been stated.
