Summary

A description of the creep and relaxation phenomena in a threelayer (polyamide–silicon rubber–quartz glass) rod was attempted. Sample was treated as a homogeneous material subjected to the action of a specified load. The main task of the presented work was not just modelling (in particular of composite structures), but rather an analysis of the previously adopted model, it is that of a parallel connection of the Hooke, Maxwell and Newton models. This model makes it possible to analyze the creep and relaxation phenomena in a classical treatment for the state of uniaxial stress and under Assumption that no element of the model is destroyed during conductor loading.
