Summary

Curing kinetics of diurethane cross-linked natural rubber was studied with the help of rheometric curves. Rate constants of both cross-linking and degradation processes were determined in compliance with Scheele's model and in dependence on temperature, diurethane type and its contents. and activation energies of the two processes were computed. It was shown that diurethane obtained from PNP and MDI is a more active cross-linking agent and forms more stable cross-linking bonds than diurethane obtained from PNP and TDI.
