Summary

The concept of lamellar structure of polymers is based on the assumption that a transition of crystalline state to amorphous state is continuos. A lack of an objective borderline bettween crystalline and amorphous state causes a fuzziness in the problem of classification of the state of polymer structure. This fuzziness has been analyzed by the methods of the fuzzy sets theory. An elementary formulation of the problem has been presented. A logical correspondence between the foundations of a lamellar model of polymer structure and the methods of the fuzzy sets theory has been shown in the paper.
