The studies of the strength properties of laminates prepared from home-made semiproducts have shown their good resistance to the action of low temperatures. A negative effect of thermal shocks on the material structure and mechanical characteristics has been observed. This effect depends primarily on the temperature difference between the cooling medium and the material being cooled. The highest resistance to the action of thermal shocks had laminates based on Polimal 139 polyester resin.
