Methods of recovery and investigation of properties of reprocessed PVC

Polimery 1990, No 4, 124

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1990.124

Summary

Influence of the plastification degree, the number of reprocessing cycles and the ratio of primary to secondary materials in the blend on the processability of PVC (characterized by the screw rotary moment), as well as on the melt flow index, on the dynamic and relative viscosities, and on the mechanical properties, such as ultimate tensile strength, relative elongation at break, Young modulus, and impact strength, has been investigated, and the results are presented.
