Summary

The results of studies on the dynamic mechanical pro­perties of vulcanized rubbers differing in the mixing time of the carbon black filler have been presented. These results are qualitatively conforming with the litera­ture data and confirm the effect of the type of distribution of the dispersed-phase particles in the vulcanizate. In this model, the knowledge of the two-dimensional function of the probability distribution, its arguments being the dimen­sions of the dispersed phase in an elementary cube and the coefficient of stress concentration in this cube, permits the determination of the modulus of the whole system.
