DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1982.369

Summary

Modern trends in construction o f the spinning replaceable parts o f spinning frames which adjoin directly the polymer melt are reviewed. Particular consideration is given to spinnerets. Spinning pumps and assemblies, and to pumping blocks. It has been shown, that even an insignificant change in these elements makes possible a radical reconstruction o f the spinning frames (frequently with no change in their overall dimensions), adapting them to the manufacturing fibres of various types i.e. staple fibre, continuous filament. Technical fibre or textile fibre, formed by multi-filament spinning. The newest modifications of elements, which by e.g. special shaping of spinnerets – make possible to manufacture fashioned fibres and bipolymer self-curling and conjugated fibres are described.
