DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1983.109

Summary

On the basis of literature data, the problem of modifying natural rubber has been discussed, and the possibility of practical utilization of the modified products with a view to their properties and profibllity of production has been analyzed. In respect of their properties, these products are similar to thermoplastic rubbers, but the possibility of thier application is rather doubtful. Various methods of preparing natural rubber in free-flowing form have also been considered. As the price of this rubber type lowers, it can find application in the rubber industry due to lower energy consumption used in its processing.
