The values of permeability coefficients through coherent two layer systems of elastic polymers were determined for eleven organic solvents from various groups of compounds. In these studies the directly combined rubber latex membranes (from natural, butadiene — acrylonitrile and polychloroprene rubber) and poly(vinyl alcohol) membranes were used. A particular attention was paid to the system of two-layer membranes comprising poly(vinyl alcohol) and latex of butadiene — acrylonitrile rubber in petrol.
