Summary

The field of application of the physical methods based on X-ray diffraction in the determination of supermolecular structure о polymers has been analyzed. The- methods of characterizing the structure of semicrystalline polymers on the basis of correlation function and IDF-function calculated from the curves of wide-angle scattering have been discussed. It has been shown that the supermolecular structure of amorphous systems of polymers can be characterized by the Debye method which allows for the determination of average length of applications of wide-angle X-ray diffraction and wide-angle synchrotron-radiation diffraction to the determination of structural parameters of polymers has been discussed.
