Polimery 1982, No 1, 18

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1982.018

The results of commercial starting of the manufacture of a new fire-retardant polyester resin. Polimal 160, prepared by catalytic copolymerization of epichlorohydrin with an hydrides of dicarboxylic AIDS have been presented. The advantageous aspects from the economic point of view of this new method as compared with the hitherto used condensation method have been pointed out. The Polimal 160 resin has been characterized by some mechanical properties of hardened resin as well as those of glass-reinforced laminates prepared on the basis of this polyester resin.
