Summary

High competition among companies involved in the production of machines, devices or their components leads to the fact that such factors as the time of appearance of the product on the market, its price and quality are extremely important in the commercial market. Rapid prototyping techniques, being integrally associated with the idea of Industry 4.0, are of great importance insuch a case. The work focuses on presenting the benefits coming from the use of PolyJet technology, offered by a world leader in the 3D printing market, Stratasys, for manufacturing of polymer parts using small scale injection molding.
