Summary

A method of preparation of triblock urethane elastomers by incorporating into the macromolecules of thermoplastic elastomer the oligomers of the classical polyurethane (PU) type of a defined molecular weight and with primary —OH end-groups has been elaborated. In the part one, the synthesis of oligourethanediols of various molecular weights from hexamethylene-1,6-diisocyanate and 1,4-butanediol has been presented. The number and viscosity average molecular weights of oligomers and their melting points have been measured and derivatographic and X-ray determinations have been carried out.
