DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1980.381

The latest designs concerning the arrangement and connections of the cooling-agent circulation channels have been discussed and the expedience of designing the cooling system as one of the essential elements of the mould design has been pointed out. It is wrong to place the cooling channels just in any free spaces left after having finished with the designing of the mould Itself. The other point is the necessity of using special, metal alloys of a high heat conductivity. The rules of designing the cooling system have also been given.
