The interferometric method has been used in the studies on radial differentiation of the directional refractive indices in a series of PET-fibres differing in: rate of receiving, side blowing, stretching degree and thermal treatment. It has been shown that in dependence on the conditions during fibre forming the PET-fibres can either exhibit a radial diversification of structure or be radially homogeneous. The formation of a radial diversification of PET-fibres structure is promoted by an increase in the efficiency of cooling the fibres during their solidification and by an insrease in the rate of receiving the fibres (increase in the degree if deformation).
