Solventless ester-imide coil-impregnating lacquers

New electroinsulating solventless ester-imide lacquers have been elaborated, namely a Polimld designed for the impregnation of electric-motor windings by the dipping method and Impol KF/S — by the droplet-wise method. Both lacquers are lmpregnants of the insulation class F and are resistant to the long-term action of a temperature of 155°C during operation of electric motors. The useful properties of lacquers have been determined and compared with those of the hitherto established solvent-based polyester lacquers used in Poland for impregnation of windings of electric motors.
