Polimery 1992, No 8, 375

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1992.375

Summary

Some rules of the quality control in the process of tire manufacture were formulated and an algorithm of the relevant procedures elaborated. The control features were subdivided into critical, important and secondary. It was found that the results of measurements of thickness of rubber ired cord, width of layers and length of tire tread do not negate the hypothesis of their normal distribution. Examples of applying the methods of statistical quality control in the rubber industry were presented. The values of permitted deviations in a scries of control parameters were calculated.
