Sorption and diffusion of water vapour in natural rubber

The results of investigation of water vapour sorption and diffusion in natural rubber at 293—303 К(20—30°C) at different vapour concentration have been presented. The rubber—water interaction parameters have been calculated from isotherms of sorption. The diffusion coefficients of water vapour in natural rubber, and their dependence on temperature and water vapour concentration, have been determined from kinetic studies. The activation energy of diffusion of water vapour in natural rubber has also been calculated.
