Spectrophotometric studies on the chemical composition of polyester-imide resins

Polimery 1982, No 6-7, 253

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1982.253

A detailed interpretation of the IR- and NMR-spectra of several polyester-imide resins has been given. These resins are used in the manufacture of heat-resistant lacquers for insulating conducting wires. This interpretation can be help ful in the estimation of chemical composition of polyester-imide resins with unknown composition. The possibility of evaluation of the imidation degree of resins from their IR-spectra has been pointed out.
