Studies on crosslinking of systems composed of polyesterpolycarboxylic acid and epoxide resin

Polimery 1980, No 6-7, 233

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1980.233

Summary

Polyesterpolycarboxylic acids have been prepared by addition reaction of acid anhydrides to alcoholic groups in a branched terephthalic oligoester. These acids have been crosslinked at elevated temperature with low-molecular-weight bisphenol-A epoxide resin. The effect of the chemical composition of polyesterpolycarboxylic acid and of the mole ratio of carboxylic and epoxiSe goupps in the composition on the time of gelation as well as on the dynamic mechanical of coossllnked polymer has been investigated.
