Studies on the curing process of electroinsulating lacquer coatings with the use of dmta technique

Summary

The effect of individual components of the oven-curing lacquer compositions on the course of the curing process was investigated and the conditions of curing were determined by means of the DMTA techniques. The following thermohardening resins were used: an alkyd-isophthalic resin, an alkyd-terephthalic resin, an alkyd-epoxide resin, and a polyester-epoxide resin. As curing resin, a phenol-formaldehyde resolic resin and as a curing catalyst a commercial polyisocyanate was used. The experimental data obtained for various types of impregnating electroinsulating lacquers were presented, the stability of the structure of coatings was evaluated and the recommended crosslinking conditions established.
