Summary

The results of studies on the preparation of titanium catalyst on alumina support with varying specific surface have been presented. The dependence of the degree of reduction and the amount of deposited titanium on the amount and type of organoaluminium compound has been established. The most advantageous catalyst for the polymerization of propylene has been obtained when using triethylaluminium as reducing agent and alumina with the lowest specific surface studied (8 m2/g).
