Synthesis and properties of copoly(esterether) elastomers differing in physical and chemical structure.

Part I. The effect of chemical structure and length of soft segments

Polimery 1984, No 5, 141

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1983.141

Summary

The results of studies on the effect of molecular weight in the range of 600-6000 and chemical structure (two or four carbon atoms separating oxygen atoms) of the oligoether soft segments in block copoly(esterethers) on the course of synthesis and some properties of these elastomers have been discussed. It has been found that soft segments decide, about the low-temperature properties of copoly(esteretftefs), their elongation and elastic properties.
