The effect of some selected Rokopol-type polyetherols and catalysts on the time of gelation, time to dust dryness, mechanical properties and resistance of cast urethane elastomers (LEU) to the action of dilute acids and alkalis has been investigated. It has been shown that the best raw material for the preparation of LEU is Rokopol M12, a Block copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide reacted with glycerol, with Mn = 4700.
