Summary

Poly(butyl acrylate) homopolymers were prepared via electrochemically mediated atom transfer radical polymerization (eATRP) using only 10 ppm concentration of Cu(II) complex catalyst, lower than commonly reported 50–400 ppm. The results of chromatographic analysis (GPC) indicate that the formation of polyacrylates proceeded via ATRP mechanism. 1H NMR spectra confirm the chemical structure of the synthesized homopolymers.
