Synthesis of polypyromellitimides. Part II. Synthesis of some polyamic acids
The existence of a relationship between the reduced viscosity of polyamic AIDS obtained by solution polycondensation of dianhydride of pyromellitlc acid with some aromatic diamines and basicity of these diamines has been revealed. The effect of the time and temperature of reaction, molar ratio and concentration of substrates, rate of stirring and rate of dosing of solid pyromellitic dianhydride on the course of polycondensation has been investigated. The possibility of utilization of the after-reaction solutions of polyamic acids for the formation of fibres and films and for enamelling of copper wires has been pointed out.
