Summary

A review of the author's and his co-workers work concerning various glycidyl derivatives with a general formula I (cf. text), where Z, is a group bonding organic radical with glycidyl portion of the molecule, was presented. Mechanism of the catalytic reaction of the preparation of such derivatives in the presence of various catalysts of the proton donor type and reactivity of these glycidyl derivatives were discussed. The structure of main and side products of the reaction as well as the effect of the type of Z, group on the properties of glycidyl derivatives of the type of glycidylamines, glycidyl esters and glycidyl carbamates were considered. Attention was paid to glycidyl dervatives with two different Z; groups (Zj^Zz).
