Summary

A review covering the existing (GC) and new methods for determining styrene in the industrial-area air. The new selective and sensitive methods use the surface acoustic wave chemical sensors and they measure the absorption of ultrasonic-modulated laser beam. The measuring ranges of the GC and the new methods are 5-600 and 1.5-8 ppm, respectively.
