The effect of addition of suspension PVC and VC-VAc copolymers on the rheological properties

of modified PVC plastisols

Polimery 1984, No 4, 117

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1983.117

The results of determination of some rheological properties of PVC plastisols have been presented. The effect of addition of PCW S-68 and a VC-VAc copolymer to plastisols based on PCW E-60P modified with the Kreolak resin on the changes in critical stress, viscosity and energy of activation of viscous flow has been investigated. Just prepared plastisols and plastisols after ageing have been tested. A mathematical treatment of the effect of time of ageing on the rheological properties of modified plastisols has been presented. The same treatment has been applied to plastisols containing the above mentioned additives of PCW S-68 and VC-VAc copolymer.
