The characteristics of spinning solutions exerts an influence on the properties of PAN-fibres and of carbon fibres prepared from these PAN-fibres. To obtain carbon fibres with a strength of 2.7 GPa and Young modulus of 250 GPa it is necessary to use precursor PAN-fibres preparaed from spinning solutions of a required viscosity and concentration. These parameters have been established as criteria of selection of spinning solutions.
