Summary

The effect of the weight average molecular weight and the width of molecular weight distribution on the elastic properties of polydimethylsiloxanes has been investigated by the method of forced oscillations. A pronounced effect of the width of distribution on the elasticity has been found. There is also an effect of the weight average molecular weight on the elastic properties.
