The effect of the weight-average molecular weight and the width of distribution on the dynamic viscosity of polydimethylsiloxanes has been analyzed. It has been found that the value of weight-average molecular weight influences to a much higher degree than the width of distribution the absolute values of dynamic viscosity and Its dependence of the frequency of oscillations.
