The effect of multiple processing of some selected Polish-made
polyolefins on the mechanical properties of mouldings
The behaviour of some selected types of the Polish-made polyethylene and polypropylene in the process of multiple injection moulding with recycling of 25 percent of the previously moulded material has been investigated. It has been found that such system of scrap utilization does not contribute to any essential deterioration of the mechanical properties of moulded articles and of their appearance, does not disturb the stability of the injection moulding process, but shortens the scrap circulation cycle.
