The importance of the diffusion layer in elastomer mixtures

Polimery 1982, No 11, 432

DOI: dx.doi.org/10.14314/polimery.1982.432

Summary

The effect of the diffusion adhesive layer in elastomer mixtures on their properties has been considered. It has been found that in the crosslinked systems the effect of this layer is not so pronounced as It is in noncrosslinked mixtures. It has been suggested that the crosslinking system and conditions of vulcanization process have a decisive effect on the departures from the additivity rule of the properties of vulcanized rubber mixtures.
